Tequila and Rum, the two underdog spirits that are having an unprecedented revival throughout the world have fortunately been a lifelong passion for our two managers at the voodoo rooms, Ben and Fabio are ecstatic about the new found interest in 'their children.'
You may have noticed one of the largest selection of spirits and liqueurs in the country on the back wall in the Main Bar, but you may not be aware of the extraordinary selection of Rums and Tequilas. The Voodoo Rooms boasts a hand-selected range of these numbering over 120 different bottles at the last count.
Rum and Tequila, like Whisky, have been around since the start of distillation in the 1700s and have the same amount of heritage and artisan know-how in their development. In fact, these two spirits have an ability to have a wider range of personality than their whisky brothers.
Any of our bartenders can take you on a true journey of exploration throughout both categories and will delight and surprise as you taste these wonderful liquids.
Whether it is introducing you to a 32 year old Rum or a Tequila that's more vanilla and chocolate than a cocktail. Or perhaps an introduction to the mixable delights of these two beautiful sisters in one of our cocktails.

Tapatio Blanco (Highlands) ….. £3.80
Brilliant hand-crafted tequila - this is a world away from your salt 'n' lemon, burn 'n' gurn nightmares. Spicy with a delicious 100% agave, grilled-pepper flavour.
Arette Blanco (Valley) …… £4.00
Intense earthy, fruity, spice and floral aromas - the deeper aromas include moderate smoke scents. A beautiful example of a blanco to sip!
Partida Reposado (Valley) …… £4.80
Aged six months in French Canadian oak, Partida Reposado is smooth and rich, with a silky feel on the mouth. It has a beautiful light amber colour with golden tones, transparent, clean and full bodied. It's aromas are of chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut and almond.
Casa Noble Reposado (Highlands) ….. £4.00
A good contrast to the valley reposados. It is matured for one year in French oak and is slightly salty and vegetal at the nose, whilst more light toffee and candied-nut at the palate.
Tapatio Familia Rererva Anejo (Highlands) ….. £10.00
The earthy and vegetal flavour characteristic of the Tapatio range are pleasantly mellowed by the sweet notes of this spectacular 3-4 years aged Tequila. The new French oak brings vanilla and white chocolate notes to the nose. The palate is smooth and enjoyable notes of honey linger to a peppery finish.
